For two years, Miranda was held prisoner by Black Kain. But when the ship came under attack from a rival vessel, Mira used the confusion to attempt to kill the infamous pirate. The pair toppled overboard as the ship sank, and when Mira awoke on the shore some time later, all that was left of Kain was his bloody longcoat...

Note: I'm not as happy with this one as the other three. I tried a more dynamic pose with some perspective, and I'm not sure it really came out the way I was hoping. Still, all in all, I think it still conveys what I was going for here...
